Chronic Kidney Failure

Stage 1-2 Chronic Kidney Failure

According to glomerular filtration rate (GFR), chronic kidney failure is divided into 5 stages. In stage 1, patients still have normal kidney function with GFR no less than 90ml/min, while in stage 2, patients have slightly reduced kidney function with GFR between 60 and 89ml/min. Because kidneys still do their job normally, most people know they have stage1-2 chronic kidney failure when they are tested for another condition.

In early stage of chronic kidney failure, patients usually don’t have any symptom, so they need other evidences to detect their illness condition, including:

● Evidence of kidney damage through an MRI, CT scan, contrast X-ray and ultrasound.

● Long-term hypertension or Diabetes

● High creatinine or urea level in the blood

● A family history of some kidney diseases like Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD)

● Protein or blood in urine

If one person is diagnosed with stage 1 or 2 chronic kidney failure, the first thing he should know is that a large part of his kidney functioning cells are still healthy, but a small part of kidney cells are damaged. If left alone, more and more cells may be damaged and his condition is more likely to progress to stage 3, stage 4 or even stage 5.

At present, there is no complete cure for chronic kidney failure even in the early stage. The best current treatment is to keep patients’ condition from worsening or at least slow down the damage. As long as their kidney disease can stay in the early stage, they can live as healthy and normal with general population.

Regular test, correct treatment and lifestyle changes can help keep patients with stage 1-2 kidney failure and their kidneys healthier longer. Working together with doctors, you can obtain a healthy diet and lifestyle plan and best medical treatment such as Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy and Immunotherapy.
