1. Immune system disorder
IgA, standing for immunoglobulin A, is a normal part of your body’s immune system. When germs or bacteria attack your body, it will produce various antibodies to prevent your body from not having disease. However, due to disorder of your immune system, immunoglobulin A produced by your body will also be abnormal and when they combine with antigen, immune complexes will be formed. And they will deposit in glomerular membrane area through the circulation of blood and cause abnormal inflammation reaction in the kidneys. In this case, kidneys will be damaged partly and the surrounding tissues will also be injured. In this condition, red blood cells leak into urine, forming blood in urine which is called hematuria clinically.
2. Abnormal cellular inflammation factors
The IgA 1 in the mesangial area will lead to mesangial cells to secrete inflammatory factors and cause inflammatory reaction. In this way, renal structure and renal function will be damaged.
3. Bone marrow disorder
Bone marrow-derived also contributes to IgA deposition.
4. Genes
IgA Nephropathy is more common in some families and in certain ethnic groups
5. Infections
Infection usually will put you at a high risk of kidney failure and aggravate the conditions, including HIV infection and some bacteria infections.
6. Liver disease
It include cirrhosis, a condition in which scar tissue replaces normal tissue within the liver, and chronic hepatitis B and C infection.
