Kidney Failure Patient with Creatinine 890 Get Rid of Dialysis2016-11-01 14:58
Kaeyo is a 59 years old kidney failure from Papua New Guinea, this is the second time he comes to our hospital. After the first treatment, his creatinine level has lowered to 170~270. This time he comes here for recheck.
On October, 5th, 2015, his creatinine level increased to 890 umol/L, besides that he suffered from many other symptoms, such as lower limbs edema. So the doctor recommended him to take dialysis. However, after three months dialysis, his creatinine level still cannot be lowered. What’s worse, his urine output decreased to 200~300ml per day, his GFR downs to 13.
In order to get further treatment, he came to our hospital on Jan 10th, 2016.
After about one month treatment, his disease got controlled totally, his predialysis creatinine level downs to 170~270, the urine output also increased to 600ml.
On Sept 23th, 2016, he came to our hospital for the second time. After another one month treatment, he gets rid of dialysis successfully. Now his creatinine stays in 120~130, his urine output increased to 1000~2000ml.
We are very glad to see this result.
