Is Dialysis the Best Choice for Kidney Failure Patient with Creatinine 8.42016-12-06 14:57
I got stage 5 kidney failure, eGFR 16, my creatinine level is 8.4 and my urea is 37.3. The doctor said he will start me on dialysis in 8 weeks. I want to know is dialysis the best choice for me? Is there any other alternative treatment?
Is dialysis the best choice for patient with creatinine 8.4?
To be frankly, no one wants to experience dialysis, but if too much waste products and toxins accumulate in the body cause some obvious symptoms will appear, such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, severe edema, heart disease, pulmonary edema, difficult breath and etc, then dialysis had better be started.
However, dialysis should be temporary, it is not a long-term method, not only because it may induce many complications but the most important reason is that dialysis can not treat kidney disease from the root.
Is there any other alternative treatment of dialysis?
Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy can be an alternative treatment of dialysis, which can bring new hope for the patient.
This treatment is based on Chinese herbal medicine, but used externally. Two bags filled with processed Chinese herbal medicines will be put under patients’ lower back, which means patients just need to lie on the bed to take it. With the help of osmosis device, the active materials of Chinese herbal medicines can directly reach to kidney area by permeating into skin and then begin to come into play. Through extending blood vessels, promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis, anti-inflammation, anti-coagulation, degradation and providing nutrition for damaged kidneys, the kidney function can be improved.
