Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the human body is often affected by exogenous pathogenic factors or internal injuries, resulting from abnormal gasification of the whole body.
First, for the kidney qi deficiency: Radix Astragali, Radix Codonopsis, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Atractylodis Rhizoma, Herba Epimedii, Ramulus Mori, and Rice; Decoct with water.
Secondly, for those with spleen and kidney yang deficiency: Ramulus Cinnamomi, Appendices, Atractylodes Rhizome, Paeonia lactiflora, Ginger Slices, Poria, Alismatis Rhizoma, Arecae Semen with Skin, and Hull of hoist; Decoct with water.
Third, for the liver and kidney yin deficiency: Dried Rehmannia, Ligustrum lucidum, Fructus Lycii, Rhizoma Anemarrhenae, Ecliptae Herba, Poria, Alismatis Rhizoma and Herba Leonuri; Decoct with water.
Fourth, common kidney obstruction: Dried Rehmannia glutinosa, Angelica sinensis, Radix Paeoniae Rubra, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Semen Persicae, Carthami Flos, Herba Epimedii, and leech powder; Decoct with water.
Fifth, those with damp-heat swelling: Phytolacca acinosa, Alisma orientale, adzuki bean, Zanthoxylum BUNgeanum, betel nut with skin, poria cocos skin, notopterygium root and rhubarb. Decoct with water.
Sixth, exogenous wind chill and wind heat: Exogenous wind-cold affects ephedra, white almond, tuckahoe peel, dried orange peel, areca peel, white mulberry bark, ginger coat, plantain seed grass, and exogenous wind-heat uses ephedra, gypsum, forsythia, lalang grass rhizome, scutellaria baicalensis, red bean, houttuynia cordata and platycodon grandiflorum. Decoct with water.
