If one has successfully adopted kidney transplant, is that means the patients can live a normal life and have all the foods? As a matter of fact, there are still lots of limitations of the diet for kidney transplant patients. And then, what food should the kidney transplant patients refuse?
Kidney transplant is an operation in which the damaged kidney of the patient will be replaced with a healthy and matching one from the donor. Through the surgery is succeeded, the body will still consider the new kidney as a foreign matter and prime the immune system for the sake of cleaning up the kidney. Therefore, the patients have to take the anti-rejection drugs in the rest of their life.
According to these, we can see that the new kidney is weaker than the kidney of the healthy people, and that the kidney can not be stopped from the damage caused by the human immunity. So that, the kidney transplant patients are acquired to take the well-planned diet.
As a matter of fact, the principle of the patients’ diets is similar as the kidney disease patients, except that they can not have any foods which is to enhance the immunity. Moreover, the patients would better not to smoke, drink, be tried, get infections or others. Otherwise, they will be ill with kidney failure again.
Here I will list some foods which the patients can not take.
High salt foods: pickles, hum, sausage and so on.
High phosphorus foods: animal viscera, egg yolk, shrimp, etc.
